Yep, that's right... a blind date. Set up by my childhood friend and Ben's best friend (who are now married and have a baby boy of their own :) )
When I first saw Ben I was pretty sure we were not going to be having a second date, he just wasn't my type. But after riding trax down town and sword fighting while wearing princess tiaras and watching some pretty awesome street preformers (while sharing his coat, it was FREEZING!) I was pretty sure he was gonna be around for awhile. :)
Then on our second date he kissed me and I just knew that was going to be my last first kiss. (even though he was so nervous afterwards that he forgot my name and put my name in his phone as "m". HAHA)
And here we are... 4 year later and so much has Changed!
We're married for starters, own a home, driving two completely different vehicles then we did when we met, we have a dog, Ben is a full time fire fighter (Yipee), and I am a full time mommy to TWO KIDS! Holy crap, How things have changed. :)
But we still act like newly weds. :) I LOVE knowing that I get to (Not have to, I GET to) spend FOREVER with this crazy, fun, handsome, sarcastic, honest to a fault, sweet, and amazing guy. Who just so happens to be an awesome daddy too! :)
So I guess what I'm trying to say is... Happy first date Anniversary to the LOVE OF MY LIFE!
