Home Baked Tortilla Chips & Beginning of a project..

I decided to make home made tortilla chips today and I liked them so much I thought I should share how I made 'em!

I did mine with whole wheat tortillas but you can use corn or flour tortillas, whatever you like!

Ben's mom gave us this kitchen for Chloie and I am fixing it up for her, for her birthday.

Here is the before, I'm half way done with it, so I'll get the "after" up soon!

Found some cute little hand writing on the inside of the cabinet door, it says "and Aubree". (Ben's little sister.)

Eleven Months Old!

Walking, Jabbering, Curious Little Girl of ours is now 11 Months old! She will be ONE January 24th!!!! I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by! Ben and I have had a blast watching our little one grow, playing with her, teaching her fun stuff, and we wouldn't change a thing! I can't wait to celebrate her first birthday with all of our family in a few short weeks!

Here is a picture of our adorable little Chloie Kae Andrus! (I do not know why it will not rotate so just lay your head on your computer desk so it looks right side up! :) haha)

Short trip to St George after Christmas!

Chloie and I went down to St George to see my cousin Sharise, who was home from Texas for Christmas, and to see My cousin Dan, his wife Chantelle, and their daughter Haiven who was turning 1 on New years Eve!
I got to spend some time catching up with Sharise, which was fabulous!
We got to see my Cousin Danette and her cute little family (and Cute little Baby Bump!) Who I haven't seen in a REALLY long time!
And I got to see my cousin Brittany and her cute family (who has got a little one on the way too! :))
My cousin Des and her family were down in St George too, as well as my Grandparents!
We spent quite a bit of time at my Aunt Pauline and Uncle Ronnie's house with everyone! It was one BIG, fun, family gathering! haha!
It was a lot of fun seeing them all and I wish I could see them all more often!

We weren't able to stay for Haiven's birthday bash, but we got to spend a little bit of time
with her before we left (she had the flu so we didn't get to see her for very long). I got a couple pictures of the two of them together and as I was loading them onto my computer I saw a picture from when they were really little and couldn't believe how much they both have changed over the past year!

CRAZY, HUH?!

Crock-pot Apricot Chicken!

This is a recipe that Ben and I love! It is so easy and delicious! So I thought I should share it!

I put two (or three) Chicken breasts into the crock-pot.
Then I mix together a 1/2cup of apricot jam or preserves and a pinch of ginger and nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon, along with a table spoon of lemon juice and pour it over the chicken.
I cook it on high in the crock-pot for 4 hours then turn it to low for an additional 30min- an hour.
Then I shred it and serve it over rice and pair it with a salad. :)

Hope you all get a chance to try this recipe and enjoy it as much as we do!

I let Chloie have some tonight. She cracks me up, she would put a piece in her mouth and say "mmmmm!". :) She is one messy little girl when she eats, hahaha, and gotta LOVE the hair!
