Meet Allie Andrus, the newest addition to my family! She is a Malamute and Timberwolf mix. She will be three months old tomorrow (11-20-09).

Gotta Love being a Newly-Wed

Ben and I Moved into our town home in DayBreak about two months ago... We love it. People here aren't as crazy as we originally thought they were. Our Neighbors are great, very quiet, and they all have kids so they're to busy to really hang around us much.
Still getting used to living with a boy.. Snot rockets aren't exactly the coolest thing in the world to ME but to my 24 year old (going on 6) husband they are incredibly awesome! Makes me throw up a little everytime he does it..
He's got his quirks thats for sure.
But on the plus side... I don't have to do laundry (he LIKES doing laundry :)), he usually vacumms (unless I get to our really cool vacumm first..) and generally I DONT have to pick up after him.. which is nice.
Finally talked him into bringing my screech ( My Cat) home. She loves it here, she's got her own bed to hide under, and all the windows she could possibly need to people watch. She's alot of fun.
The owners of Echelon Edge (my cosmetology school) are building a Salon (Salon 9) less then a block away from our home (EXCITING)
I'm still stuck at Sally, HATE IT!!

I'm slowly working on getting my life together...
Written exam - Passed
Practical exam - PASSED
Finishing my last 6 credits on Thursday, then getting my cosmetology license (finally). hopefully getting as far away from Sally Beauty Supply as Physically possible and getting into a salon! (WHERE I BELONG)
Wedding in 39 days! (Which to Ben and I seems like FOREVER!)!
Got my first speeding ticket.... I like to get to where I'm going as quickly as possible... and I just really wanted to be as cool as my cousin, Sharise!!
Found a Town home that's pretty much perfect (except that it's in DayBreak) people there are WEIRD. We went last Saturday Morning (10AM) and the streets were flooded with people and yard sales everywhere (not even kidding) and people smiling all over the place! We are NOT drinking the water if we end up living there, pretty sure it's laced with sort of drug and I am perfectly content being sarcastic and beast like to everyone! haha. people are Just not that happy normally....

So, You'll all be glad to know I haven't lost my mind yet... Weddings require work, and time that I don't have... Thank Goodness For My mom and Ben's Mom (Royalyn)! My mom is intensely creative and so supportive, and Ben's mom is a Wedding planner (I know, I know, I hit the Jack pot!) She has so many ideas and she is so great being patient with me (especially since I have NO idea what i want, never though I'd get married, well at least not for a few more years, so i never sat down and thought about what I'd want)! Ha!
And My Dear Silly Aunt Shonnie is Amazing, planning a bridal shower for me. She seemed pretty excited about it... I don't know what to expect but I'm excited to see what she cooks up! :)
My entire family is so supportive and so willing to help with anything they can! I have an amazing family! Aunts and Cousins all over the place, whom I know I can count on to help in anyway!
And I've got Melisa E. Doing our Photo's! Which I am SO EXCITED ABOUT! She's very gifted and I can't wait to see how they turn out!
And I am so grateful for Ben standing right beside me, being just as confused, excited, and indecisive as I am in all of this!

April Fools Day

So I get up this moring and start to get ready and notice a small grey box sitting on top of my dvd player in my room... I panicked. I sit and stare at it for a good ten minutes before I pick it up. Think about it for another five minutes before opening it... and theres a note... on pink princess paper in the shape of a diamond "APRIL FOOLS". My amazing boyfriend is going to pay for this joke! lol

okay, people settle down! I am not engaged yet! My mom is getting a little ahead of her self. I'll be sure to let everyone know when it ACTUALLY happens. haha! Love you all!

UPDATE

So Today I'm bored... Hence the blogging thing...

• I have the most amazing boyfriend ever, Ben Andrus (for those of you who don't already know).
• Taking the state boards soon... FINALLY. I'm a big SLACKER.
• I'll be nineteen in two days! WOOT! I'll finally be legal to buy tobbacco.... too bad i dont' smoke, right!? HAHA.
• My sister-in-law is PREGO (like no one knew). Whitney and Jordan are going to be the cutest parents ever, and I'm excited to finally be an aunt.

Thats pretty much all thats going on. May be getting married soon.... not for sure though..

New Year!

New years eve was Great fun, I thought I was going to end up staying home hanging out with the fam (which is loads of fun don't get me wrong, but I was in need of a break). I ended up going down town with an old friend and some new friends. It was a BLAST! Sword fighting, talking to drunk people on trax, watching a couple of guys play some pretty awesome music with a bell, a washboard, a banjo, and a harmonica. :)
It was a great way to start off a new year!!!
